Privacy policy

This page says what this website does, and does not do, with its visitors’ data. It is short because the website is simple. The data controller is CONDORCET, publisher of the website.

Cookies and trackers

This website sets a single cookie, named Wysistat, placed by the Wysistat audience-measurement tool on this website alone (no other website can read it) and valid for 13 months. It holds a random identifier, unrelated to your identity, and visit counters. The CNIL, the French data protection authority, exempts this use from consent: no banner is needed.

Data collected by the website

The website has no forms and does not itself collect any personal data.

Online booking

The “Book online” button opens the booking module of Zenchef SAS (63 avenue de Villiers, 75017 Paris). The module only loads when you click that button: until you use it, nothing is requested from this provider. The details you enter to book (name, phone number, email, booking details) are processed by this provider and by the restaurant, to handle your booking.

Contact by phone or email

If you write to contact@grandebrasserie.fr or call +33 (0)9 75 80 99 72, what you tell us is used only to reply to you and is kept only for the duration of the exchange.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., United States. Like any hosting provider, it keeps technical logs (IP address, request timestamps) for the security and proper operation of the service. Data transfers outside the European Union are governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the hosting provider states it complies with.

Third-party resources

Fonts are hosted on this website: no request is sent to Google Fonts. The only automatic outbound request is the audience-measurement tag, described below. Links to Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps are plain outbound links: nothing is embedded from those services, and nothing is sent to them unless you click.

Audience measurement

Website traffic is measured with Wysistat, published by IDfr (servers in France), under the conditions set by the CNIL to be exempt from consent: IP address truncated to its first three octets, pages viewed, clicks on the booking, call and directions buttons, referrer, screen size, browser and operating system; anonymous identifier; no cross-site tracking; no data passed to third parties. Raw logs are kept for four months and only ever reported in aggregate form.

You can opt out of this counting at any time: Wysistat opt-out page. It opens in a new window and confirms that you are no longer counted.
